I've never seen water levels this high at this time of year, in my life.
You see these levels early in the spring, but evaporation normally takes it's toll by this time of year.

Lakes around home(Brainerd-Mille lacs) are close to, or are at record levels. We got 20 inches in a 30 day period.
I bet the rivers up the Ely way are just roaring.

Lac la Croix was very high. Little Indian Souix was about 6 inches high last Sunday, but back to normal today, just had current flowing.

From other thread along with this one, it's most definitely looking like high water levels are going hand in hand with high bug levels - mosquitoes, black flies, deer flies, etc.

Part of the package.

We all have to believe in something. I believe I'll go paddle.

Some interesting Kawishiwi R graphs, especially the comparison to median daily statistic on the 'Discharge, cubic feet per second' graph.
