quote Savage Voyageur: "WoooHooo, looks like Ribeye's and Lobster are back on the menu. "
Pickin up a ribeye for the buddy tonight on the grocery run, I'm a sally, so its a fillet for me!
quote nctry: "
Yep, the way it's rainin' now, you won't have to worry. Have fun Ragged. I have a week to go yet. :)"
Thanks, I’m sure I’ll get all the rain and you will get all the sun! I feel almost guilty, this will be my third trip in this spring, but I think this will likely be my last unless I can somehow manufacture some more vacation time, there is always those sick a personal days…..
OK guys and gals, be careful what you pray for. Would you rather be in the Bdub during a fire ban or would you rather spend 5 days out there while it rains and pours every fricken day?
I only ask because it's rained like the Dickens for the past few days and it's supposed to rain even harder the next few!!!!!
Yep droughts are broken with some flooding..sorry about that and THINK OF ALL THE BUGS! I have been on trips it rained every single day and never got dry. I have had sleet and a sunburn on the same trip. Fortunately I have not had to deal with fire bans. Water is life so for the sake of life I choose rainy trip.
We may be going from needing a Camel to Noah's Ark.

We are going in to Quetico on Saturday, so maybe the heaviest rains will be over by then. Still it appears we may be living in raingear for much of our 10-day trip. Could be a challenge starting a fire. What a change from a few days ago!
