New stuff my lovely wife made for me...late birthday present!
Thwart bag and tramp-o-tump. Got some 1000 denier Cordura off eBay for cheap, she sewed it up for me. Found that they have water-resistant zippers at Hancock Fabric. The tump will dual purpose as a catch-all when fishing or day tripping on non-travel days. Just move it toward the back seat (got the idea from a Cliff Jacobsen book).
...and the setup I ended up with for my Piranhamax 170 I bought with the $100 birthday bill my mother-in-law gave me. I have awesome in-laws! Bowman will be doing the structure reading on my upcoming end-of-May trip.
quote TeamTuna06: "Nice setup....and fashionable too!" Thanks, TeamTuna, I kinda like the digital camo pattern, too. Not as expensive as Mossy Oak Breakup or whatever. And light enough in color not to get too hot in the sun!
The amount of satisfaction you get from life depends largely on your own ingenuity, self-sufficiency, and resourcefulness. People who wait around for life to supply their satisfaction usually find boredom instead.
