i have a 1993 17 ft. fiberglass white old town canadienne canoe for sale. price is $1000 firm. this canoe has been on about 15 trips to the quetico and some local waters as well. it has cane seats and black gunwales. it also has a piragis yoke pad that they sell as their best one. it was repaired once by ralph friese who is also the designer of this canoe. there are normal wear marks for the age. i now own a sr quetico 17 kevlar that is why i would like to sell this one. my phone is 708 473 1238 if interested call and i will text pictures
i have just finished restoring a totaled 1982 canadienne, mine has wood gunwales and deck plates. it is a gorgeous canoe with lines based on the traditional canadian tripping canoe. a few knowledgeable people consider this one of the best canoes ever designed. i look at my canoe and i dream of paddling the canadian coast of lake superior, this is the canoe that you would want.
i know and i am already having second thoughts. It is a beautiful canoe for sure and everytime it has been on the water people have complimented me about it.

Here's mine:
Just purchased last year. Love the wood gunnels and brass work. Has not been to the BWCA yet, but I promised the guy I bought it from that she'd get there and I'd send pics. He wasn't ever able to get there himself and just wanted her to be used where she was destined to go.
