It is time to start the January 2012 Photo Contest.
We are going to keep entries open until Feb 6th due to the late start so get up there and take some photos. ;)
First an important note. If you see that you have won the contest or a prize in the contest, please email your address and choice of hat, shirt, or bandanna to me.

Thanks Schweady - Walked in to the pictographs on Sunday the 25th. There were ski trails parralleling the foot trail which was stamped out in about 5" of snow. 1.7 miles from the parking lot.
"thats a big trout for Mountain Lake" I know Mountain can be a dink fest but there are some trout in there much bigger than that one. That fish was real skinny but I love the colors on it.

flambeau river, wisconsin, not the bwca. technically not winter either. (early march). winds gusting to sixty miles an hour that week, blizzard from hell, and we were running rapids in the illustrious wenonah whitewater II. hypothermia was a constant threat.
