dont get too dependant on that method...very few areas allow portage "wheel".

Thanks for all the nice words.
I've gotta admit, there was not much in the pack other than fill (some plastic bags, another pack & a tarp). But I think I could do it with a regularly filled pack too.
I had not tried that in 28 years & since I fixed the wheel on my unicycle last summer, I've been itching to try it again.
It was a little windy that day, and there's not much footing (for lack of a better term), to leverage against that. So when the wind said "go up the driveway" that's what I did.
I made three passes with my wife snapping pictures & each time a gust of wind, forced me to turn up the driveway.
By the third pass, there were 3 neighbors watching, & two of them taking pictures...They said they were sending them to friends in Poland.
