Ron -- Three of us from the OBX Paddlers Club are tossing around the idea of a one or two night platform camping trip on the Roanoke River sometime in late January or February. Another thought is Durant Island where we can have a fire (which is not allowed on the platforms).

Looks like it will be at least mid-February at the earliest. Suddenly everybody has "schedule" conflicts.
