I want to re-canvas a solo lake Kayak kit that I bought in 1967. The old canvas is bad. Is the canoe canvas special canvas or can you use any canvas like a canvas drop cloth? This Kayak has a flat bottom, so do I need to add a keel?

Lets go canoe tripping as often as possible. "You never stop having fun because you grow old, you grow old because you stop having fun".

You should probably post this over on the Builder's Group board. Go to the bottom of the main message board page, and you will see the link to the special interest groups.

Ahwww !
I was hoping this would be about people who still use canvas tents, like me.
