I'm headed to the BW in July and would like to purchase a Duluth style pack. I am 6'1" with a long torso, so it needs to be a large size. I'm also looking for some various dry bags too.

How about using a Kondos Ultimate pack?

Do you have any used? What are you asking for them? What is the advantage of a pack like this?

Yes I do. Give us a call at 800 848 5530 and we'll give you all the details on the pack (& others we have) plus prices.

This pack holds about 7000 cubic inches, has a wide waist band, sternum strap, shoulder adjustment straps, side grab loops, front webbed pocket(great for damp stuff), flaps inside top that clip together to hold things on top & in place, double and sometimes triple bar-tacked ends, taller pack so it doesn't stick out so wide when portaging, extra long straps on front so if you want to over pack it a bit with extra light stuff, it will fit; foam for comfort along the back which is inside a pocket on the back so you can take it out when you want to wash it.

We wash them everytime they come back (we remove the belt & foam insert & never put them in the dryer) so what dirt they get on them doesn't abrade the material later. Most of our packs are, at most, one year old.

Glad you like the pack. I am always up to bringing packs to shows for pre-orders like yours, it helps that you don't have to pay shipping costs then! :-)

Our friends at Voyageur North sell good used packs - I have a #4 Kondos and it will serve until I will it to my sons.
