I never realized that they crossed into Canada and fired guns that night. Canadian Authorities do not look fondly on that kind of activity..... illegal crossing, weapons, and discharge of weapons. Lions and Tigers and Bears, oh my..........

I think the kid got off too light. I can only imagine how long the campers will have nightmares of that night. I hope the Canadians throw the book at them. Most kids in our country get off way too easy for crimes they commit and they know it.

Protect the BWCA as if it was your own property!
