I have had a Big Agnes insulated air core pad 78X25 for the past two seasons and my aging bones have appreciated the added comfort. I am tired of using the OR pillow pump as it requires me to do it by hand and seems to take quite awhile. Is this just part of what I have bought into or is there a better pumping method that others have found or use.
Thanks'

Your post sent me to the garage, got out my 'WX Tex 25L Pneumo' dry bag, and my pad,

Some tape to join the valves, and 4 bags of air. Next I'll try to find a piece of tubing to connect them!

Hey Butthead, thanks for sharing such a clever idea. No need to respond if I have this right;

1) Blow up the dry bag then attach by either tape or tube and push air out of dry bag. Close air mattress valve and repeat with dry bag (4 times).

Hope I got it - thanks for the pictures.

Didn't even blow up the bag, Just opened it up as best I could and rolled close the end. You can sit on the bag to push air into the pad! I'm thinking of surgical tubing to join the valves.

Big Agnes has a Stuff Sack with an end on it that attaches to the valve of the BA AirCore pad. This is what I use............Works GREAT.

Fill the stuff sack with Air......roll down, repeat..............works as expected.

Later,

Geo
