I will say the end of you trip has some decent portages  - The temperence river portage .7 miles and kelly to burnt (.65 mile) and burnt to smoke (.33) to sawbill. (.33) ..  be sure to try and lighten your load by then.

redwood	05/19/2005 09:13AM I've only been to the bwcaw once before (and that was a long time ago), and am planning on a three day loop: Sawbill to Cherokee to Kelly. Any advice on the what the area is like? Highlights? Fishing?
