Ingvald	05/10/2012 02:50PM I just got back from Gander Mountain. They have packages of vacuum sealed leaches. Of course they have the disclaimer on the front- NOT FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION

Am I the only one to struggle with it because of sand in the vaseline? I still have lead jigs but have been purchasing non-lead sinkers for years now. It started with bullet/texas rig sinkers but I've been phasing out my split shots as well.

RoundRiver	05/09/2012 07:28PM In terms of conservation and ethics, ditch the lead. One jig will kill a loon, and I'm sure other critters. Northland tackle sells quality non-lead jigs in a variety of sizes and colors. They work well.
