Very easy to get to with only 2 portages. It is a nice place. I agree do yourself a favor and go onto Insula. Insula is well worth the extra portages.

Do yourself a favor and head for Insula. There are still plenty of people, but not nearly as many and the # chain.

Walleye fishing is decent, but nothing too big because of the heavy pressure they get. Depending on how far you want to go a few portages could get you more off the beaten path.

We found between three and four there was some good walleye fishing in the channel. We drifted back and forth in front of our campsite and each caught a bunch. Had enough for two meals that day! Try to get a site on the east end of lake three. They are fairly spread apart and large. But watch out for strong NW winds!

If you will go to the search section here and type in Numbered Lakes you will get plenty of information...

Are these easy to get to? How is the fishing in them and which one's are best? From what I've gathered, these are busy sites? Are the camping sites unique? Thanks for the help!
