Thanks MOgirl and fishguts. One more week and we are off. It should be a great trip introducing friends to the boundry waters. Have 1 coming from Texas,California, and Nebraska. Thanks again.

Have a great trip, we used to do well on Thomas and Ima, but our favorites were Frazier & Sagas.

We just got back from doing a loop from Snowbank. We traveled from Snowbank to Boot to Ensign to Splash (just to do some fishing), to Vera to Trader to Neglige back to Vera then Ensign, to Ashigan, Gibson, Cattyman, Adventure, Jitterbug, Ahsub, Disappointment then out Snowbank. My favorite lakes were Ahsub and Disappointment. I thought they were the prettiest. You can read my trip report. We did not fish too much but did catch plenty of little small mouth right off the bank of our campsite.

Good Luck,
~Kristy

Heading out of EP 27 Snowbank in 9 days. Nice 5 day trip with friends and I am chomping at the bit to get going. Heading out June 17 thru 21.

Original plan was to head to Ima or Thomas to basecamp but after reading the many great posts on here it sounds like those lakes are not the best for fishing and can be pretty crowded. So was thinking of heading to ashigan and ensign. I know ashigan is small but I have had great luck fishing that lake. Maybe even Jordan due to the great campsites but not sure how the fishing is there.

We decided to rent kevlars from Voyageur North this year and leave our aluminum canoes home, also very excited about that as well.

Will try to get a trip report up upon return
