You can find ANYTHING using the search tool, that button has more bwca info than the rest of the web combined.
The group organizer button links you to a pretty nice gear list, you don't need everything listed, but it gives you a good idea of the things to bring along.

Yes! The search tool is good and a question? Fire away and there is a wealth of good answers and honest opinions here. Like mentioned above; you name it; this site will answer it!

I just joined last week, but have been lurking for about 2 weeks. The knowledge I have gained here for my upcoming ( and first BWCA trip)trip has been invaluable!!

You have come to the right place, Luko.
Suggest you get your hands on the Beymer book (library or purchase), spend some time searching this site and, then ask questions. This is a very friendly bunch. Welcome!

This trully IS the best BWCA site. I'm going on my first trip September 13th. My first time in and I'm planning for a trip of four for 7 days. There's nothing you can't get an answer for on this site. Don't waste your time trying. I did....not worth the effort.

"Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About the Boundary Waters, But Were Afraid to Ask"
You're here! Where else is there?
Don't be afraid to use the "Search" feature up above.

THIS site is your best link....start asking questions. Also, go over to the menu on the left and click on "books"....check out the Beymer book.

I'm trying to plan a trip back to the BWCA. It's been about 15+ years since me, & some friends went there, but I'm having a hard time finding good info as far as a how to guide. Does anyone have a link to a good how to or know of any recent books. I have alot of the gear just not sure what else I need or where the best place to go would be. I am interested in heading somewhere not alot of people go. I also want to spend atleast 8+ days there if I do go. I am panning this for next June or July so if anyone has any info please lend a hand. Thank you.
