Parent is good for walleye fishing, Disappointment will be good for smallies & pike at that time.
Ensign has all three and should be pretty good.
August is a bit tougher to fish, the water is so warm. Just go deep and you'll succeed.

Buddies and I are making our first trip to BWCA during the first week of August. Primary purpose is to canoe and just enjoy the wilderness....however, we will be bring our fishing poles.
Any suggestions regarding the lakes we will be canoeing on this trip in regard to good fishing? Any to avoid? etc?
We will be canoeing the 3 to 4 day loop - Enter Parent, Disappointment and Jitterbug Lakes, continuing around through Cattyman, Gibson, Ashigan and Ensign Lake. Paddle to Moose for pickup.
Looking forward to experiencing the BWCA...peace to all.
