05/04/2024 01:27PM Def not a difficult paddle, in fact it is a lot of fun, as long as you’re not in a hurry. As mentioned in some spots it is only wide enough to fit your canoe thru, but it is deep enough all the way to BE. Might be my fav EP with the adventure getting in. Start early so you don’t hit a west wind blowing across Bald Eagle in the afternoon, it can get choppy, then your paddle might get a tad more challenging. Enjoy the journey and have fun! |

None of the portages are tough but of course the first portage from your car is long. Paddling something like a MN II or God forbid a MN III will make for challenging maneuvering. It is very winding in places. Sort of like playing bumper cars with your canoe. |
